AXA SmartFlex - scam/fishy or not?

Hi all.
Can you tell if this is scammy/fishy?

SmartFlex pension plan

With the Smartflex pension plan, you save for your old age with suitable risk protection.

I see you can also add some sort of death insurance... but I think it is optional.
The TER is very low if you are part of the SmartFlex program, but otherwise it's not really competitive - what do you understand from this?
Where's the caveat with SmartFlex?

For me, it is just a fancy 3a with an optional life insurance. I am not sure if it's scammy (if you do not take the life insurance part), but I would not trust an insurance with a 3a. Their goal is to get more people into their life insurancel.

Thanks for confirming my gut instinct. A friend of mine was asking me about this SmartFlex thing...
