Which stock broker / bank is available to residents of Switzerland who have US citizenship? How do these bank's custody fees compare? And which of these banks provide the tax report via a QR code (as big banks do)? I am wondering how ZKB fares, as I already have a regular bank account there.

As a broker, you should be able to use Interactive Brokers, it will be much cheaper than any other Swiss banks (especially the big ones).
As a US citizen, you are mostly stuck with the big banks: UBS, ZKB and Swissquote.

The last I heard, they did accept them, yes. I think they have a mandate from the government to accept them.
Hi- Post Finance does not wish to deal with US citizens. You can maintain an account but no investment options are possible.

As a US citizen you are eligible to open an investment account directly with Vanguard. The fees with Vanguard are very low (VTI is a Vanguard ETF with an expense ratio of 0.03%) and significantly lower than every other US and European broker I've seen.
