Best travel insurance

What do you think, what is the best price/ratio travel insurance now in Switzerland?
E.g. TCS ETI Schutz looks good. (However it is an insurance for a whole year. What if somebody travels only for 1-2 weeks a year?)

Allianz has some great travel insurance options. There are different levels of coverage you can purchase, and the higher levels have great trip cancellation coverage. You can do it all online

I am not aware of any insurance for 1–2 weeks a year. In this case, you should probably take the insurance from the service selling you the tickets.

These days, you can also get decent insurance with some credit cards when you use them to pay the tickets.

The question you should ask yourself is exactly what do you want to be covered against? There are many parts that fall under travel insurance. Are you interested in being brought back in case of illness/accident? Are you interested in car insurance abroad? Cancelation Insurance?....

Most car insurances which come with credit cards are too limited and car rental companies charge extremely high fees. I would recommend getting a dedicated insurance if this is part of what needs to be covered. They can also cover occasional rentals in Switzerland and even car sharing services.
For the rest, a lot of it can already be covered by a home and health insurance, so I would make sure to minimise the overlap.
