IBKR referral bonus

What a shame, then I completely missed out on that. I'm wondering if there's any way for me to still get this somehow? Would I somehow be able to open a second account, using a referral code, and move my portfolio over, perhaps? Has anyone tried doing this?
If not, that's a shame, because if the goal is long-term compounding, you're missing out on an additional (up to) 1000$ in this stock.. I think this should also be mentioned in the article on this page, unless I simply overlooked it.

even this part is kind of shaky, as they write one should never be involved in any help once the account is opened... I mean what real friend suggest you a product and once you have it, they just go silent and dont share their experience or help in any way?
in the end only those random referrals are within their guidelines, and they are not even real referrals as most new users have already decided to switch to ibkr and then just search for a referral code on the internet.
I'm probably going to contact IBKR support and tell them that I signed up using a referral code, and that it must have somehow fell out during my sign up process.
Could I give the support the referral link from someone here in the community? I would simply tell them that I was using this link, and that something must have gone wrong there, as we both have not received the bonus. Ideally, we would then both get the bonus (or they simply say they won't add the bonus after the fact).

So a quick update here. Unfortunately, IBKR support told me that it's not possible to retroactively apply the referral bonus. So if you've missed out on it, there's nothing you can do.

not really worth it for me then, in this case. 1 week can be a lot of potential gains missed, plus having to liquidate everything, whereby all the USD assets get converted to CHF to go back to my bank, and then back to USD again on the new account. 1000 USD would be around 900 CHF. Might as well just buy the stock myself with that, to me personally it seems like the better option.
