Any calculator or comparison tool missing?

I would suggest realizing a CH CHF calculator based on CHF/USD data from the last ~50 years, as discussed here ff.

It would provide a better basis for planning a retirement in Switzerland as compared to the current CH CHF calculations with the Advanced FIRE Calculator on one hand and to attempts to adjust the results of US USD calculations to Switzerland on the other hand.

I am not sure I get it.

Are you suggesting a new calculator or an improvement to the advanced fire calculator that would do bootstrapping on a given period?

Sorry if I was unclear. Actually, my suggestion was rather general. As for the specific implementation - you are the boss :) If you like, we can discuss the options.

Ok, I have taken note of that.

I am going to plan to do some content with historical sampling and potentially Monte Carlo simulations. Once the code and article is done, I can improve the calculators to take advantage of that.

Great thanks for the new calculation options! I am looking forward to your blog post on CH/CHF calculation.

And now for something completely different (c). Swiss real estate is a very popular investment class in Switzerland. As one can see on the screenshots from this video, this class, when compared to Swiss stocks, has a moderately lower performance (6.8% vs. 7.9%) and a much lower volatility (10% vs. 22%). Such a combination could be advantageous for a mixed FIRE portfolio.

Have you thought of adding Swiss real estate to the Advanced FIRE calculator?

Adding new data to the calculator is trivial, but finding data is hard.

I would need at least 50 years of monthly returns of Swiss real estate to integrate it and I have not found it, at least not free.
