[Feedback] FI Planner

I have all the features I wanted to add to the beta:
* The form can be saved and restored
* The form can handle both singles and couples
* The second pillar is handled for both persons with legal contributions
* A single third pillar is supported for each person
* It separates liquidity and net worth

There is a little more testing to be done but it's now in much better shape than before. I also think it's more useful because it's closer to reality.

Hi Baptiste. Thanks for the new version, this is very interesting and a more helpful estimate because it considers the low returns of second pillar accounts compared to standard investment accounts.

My feedback for the beta version of the FI Planner:
  • What is the "1" next to the Annual income box?
  • It may be helpful to clarify that the savings rate actually means the investment rate into the portfolio. People can save money in a bank account that just sits there and decreases in value due to inflation.
  • Output:
    • Your Results

You need to accumulate <x> to be Financially Independent.
      Congratulations, you are financially independent!
    • The above output message is a bit confusing. I know I am not yet FI and still need to accumulate <x> to be financially independent. So why I am being congratulated? Wouldn't that make more sense if I actually had sufficient funds to be considered FI?
  • I would find it helpful to know in how many years based on my current savings rate and rates of return I will be FI. This way I could estimate how increasing my savings rate would shorten the number of years needed to reach FI.
    • For example, if I save 50% I will achieve FI in 5 years in 2031. But if I save 60% I will achieve FI in 4 years.
    • I think that the point where the liquidity line flattens on the graph is the point I have reached FI, at that point my liquid net worth and second pillar added together equal my FI number. Is this the correct interpretation?
  • In the graph I see a number next to Liquidity in the legend (5.93). What is that number?

Thank you very much for your feedback @Rebecca

The growth percentage per year. I need to add help for this one.

Good point.

That's a bug :)

And it's fixed now :)

This was supposed to be there, but same bug as before.

Can you try again?

The rate of return of the liquidity, based on your portfolio and returns profile

By the way, no need to use the beta anymore, the features are now in the standard version:
