Has anyone tried DSL from Mucho Mobile?

Hi all,

My apartment doesn't have optic fiber available yet. I'm using the Home 5G plan from Yallo for 25 CHF per month, normally I get 20 mb, but lately with the World Cup or depending of the internet usage it can get as slow as 4 mb.

Has anyone tried DSL in Switzerland specifically with Mucho Mobile? Is the speed upload and download speed simetric? What about the customer service?

When I was a kid, in my home country we used copper connection with 50 mb speed, and it worked well. I remember it's like with optic fiber, provider doesn't matter much because is expected to be stable and "just work", but I would like to confirm it's the same here in Switzelrnad.

Thank you.

I don't have any experience with internet from Mucho. My mother has DSL internet. In her case, the up- and download speeds are pretty much as advertised. I think this is the case for most DSL internet. Much providers have symmetrical internet speed, including Mucho.

I have not tried Mucho but have tried multiple offers from Swisscom over time. Not all offers are symmetric, mais non-fiber are actually asymmetric with usually 5x to 10x less upload speed.

But usually, DSL just works. It's more stable than phone coverage.

I have a few examples on the blog:
