After talking with colleagues and friends, I decided it's time to get a legal protection insurance.
I used Moneyland to find the cheapest deals. This left two companies in the final round: Mobiliar (Protecta) and Generali. What I like about Generali is their Fr. 0 deductible even with the lowest premium. The Fr. 2'000 deductible of Mobiliar (Protecta) might be prohibitive for many small claims.
Another topic is the choice of lawyer. From my understanding (but I need to clarify) both Generali and Mobiliar allow a choice of lawyers (they have of course to be informed).
My reason for (hopefully never) using this insurance: legal problems at work, in my apartment and when privately buying or selling products.
Anything I missed?
