professional advice for a beginner investor

Hey - I am new to investing.

Around 75% of our savings are in cash (CHF). I don't have a very diversified portfolio for the rest:
- around 4% of savings are invested in ETFs (VT) on IBKR (I just started using it last year)
- around 4% in MSFT stocks (for some historical reasons)
- around 2% are in some mutual funds
- 14% in our third pillar

I would like to gradually change my portfolio to get greater returns of our savings. That said, if I continue the same way, maybe I will reach by the end of 2026 10% of savings on IBKR, which is not necessarily great.

I would like to ask for professional advice on how to manage my portfolio to make it more balanced.
And what are good strategies to invest (I imagine that if in January I just go with 20% of our savings directly on VT via IBKR it might not be a great strategy, if the bubble bursts).

Would this community recommend some professional advisors / services for investment strategies? Someone who you worked with in the past?
I prefer to pay a higher consulting fee instead of talking to a lower fee fiduciaire who'd try to convince me to buy life insurance trap or sell their services ("you need to buy a house. I can help and take only N% fee").

Many thanks.

Hi

I don't know any professional advisor.

This community is mostly about learning to do things ourselves. Most people here invest on their own. Although, there are some situations where professional advice is necessary (complex estate, legal issues, ...).

If you are willing to share more thoughts and details about your investments goals, this forum can even offer you free advice :)

What forces you to go the same way as you did in the past?

Maybe you could also start with an investment policy statement and share it with us. I'm sure many of us would be happy to give you feedback.
