VZ Vermögenszentrum - experiences and impressions/feedback?

Hi all

Anyone used VZ "Vermögenszentrum" services and would share his/her experience?
I'm thinking of asking them for consultancy, especially for both my partner and my financial situation, future and forecast. She's getting quite an inheritance and I would (as simple as I am) would just take it all and lump-sum it into VT ETF. Pillar 3a is already fully paid in - every year. Second pillar can't be added anything anymore (and probably makes not much sense as we're both <50).
AFAIK, VZ won't be selling their products (they don't have any), but for sure they might suggest one or the other - to which I/we could say "no, thanks".

Curious to read about your VZ experiences!

They are doing some decent analysis, but they are quite expensive.

I have had some good feedback on the results, but not on the price.

That's not entirely right. They have brokerage services and asset management services. So they are not as independent as they claim.

I heard about being expensive, yes. Actually twice - from the only two people I know they used VZ services.

Regarding them trying to sell "their" products: I don't need them and I hope I can make this clear to a potential consultant. I don't need to know what products to buy, I'd like to get a broad view on the actual situation (with the addition of a nice sum) and some indications for the future.

Any other "VZ-alikes" anybody could endorse?

I think that's something they can do indeed.

I don't think they will push hard for their products, but that's just something to be aware of.

Maybe I'm too pessimistic. But I doubt that VZ consultants can really act completely independent. After all, they offer portfolio services. How do they ensure that a consultant has a complete overview of available portfolio services and promotes the really cheap ones without favoring their own portfolio service?
Having written this, I have no alternative company that I can recommend. I get all my information from places like this forum and the blog.

Thank you guys for your messages.
I had a look at this https://finfinder.ch/
It's interesting to notice that there are quite some small companies or even individual companies, who are not exclusively financial advisors - for example, one is also a lawyer. I think that in similar situation it might be more independent (or fully independent) because their business model is not based on selling asset management services.
As explained here, VZ is of course doing most of its business with management services (and selling "their" products/portfolios). Financial advisory is just the door-opener for them...
